Welcome to Mea Culpa Pictures. It's named after the production company I formed to make the splatter flick Bachelor Party in the Bungalow of the Damned, although these days it serves as a clearing house for all of my projects, most of which keep me at a safe distance from video cameras.

Here you'll find information about the movie as well as a production diary that a handful of indie filmmakers told me helped them through some of the dark days of production. In fact, I received so many questions about the diary that I've written a book on pre-production for no-budget producers called 'Trashy Movie Breakdown' that I hope will be hitting the shelves before too long. I'll keep you posted.

I should mention that I'm also an academic who writes on the economics and politics of popular culture, and I'll be posting bits and pieces of my work from time to time. ENJOY!
